June 8th thru11th I attended the Alabama Educational Technology Conference (AETC), where I learned many different resources that can be used in the classroom to actively engage students in learning. The session schedule was a little overwhelming because I wanted to go to all of them. Some of the sessions that I participated in were Moodle, Using IPod Touch in the Classroom, ActivInspire (Promethean Software), creating videocast and podcast using IMovie and IPhoto, and Online Resources in the Elementary Classroom. After attending several session, I became so excited in what I was learning that I couldn’t wait to return to my system and share the knowledge with others in an effort to help our teachers integrate technology into their classrooms. After returning from the conference I began to prepare to hold workshops where I would share with others the knowledge that I gained.
